DR LAURA WALSH - osteopath

Founder of Quay Osteo Laura is a surf, beach & dog lover. Like many Torquay locals she lives for the ocean and the outdoors and is passionate about making sure her patients can stay active and enjoy them too.

"Being healthy is a lifestyle, it's not a destination. I love supporting multiple aspects of people's health through osteopathy, and connecting them with other great practitioners who can work together to create a level of wellbeing and energy that excites our clients."

Before setting up her own practice Laura was the osteopath at Carlton Football Club and taught osteopathic students at RMIT University. As well as sports and surfing injuries, Laura particularly enjoys working with women with pre- and post-natal care and with the musculoskeletal symptoms of mental and emotional stress.

Brigid has a passion for treating children and babies with the use of craniosacral and indirect (gentle) techniques to facilitate a haven for easy growth without restriction and a happy, healthy child.

Brigid is returning to this region after living on the Sunshine Coast for the past year. With three children herself, she looks forward to becoming a part of the local community and working closely with young families.

Dr. Yolanda Fisherjpg

Dr. Yolanda Fisher - osteopath

Yolli is a graduate of the European School of Osteopathy (ESO), which is well known for offering all students the opportunity to treat children and pre- and post-natal women at an undergraduate level. As a result, Yolli’s delight in treating maternal and infant patients was sparked. Yolli is passionate about using her experience, both professionally and personally to support patients towards their health-related goals.

Being very active herself, Yolli appreciates the pivotal role movement and physical activity has upon the body, particularly when working towards a pain-free life. Yolli enjoys using a variety of techniques, from strong massage techniques and joint manipulation, through to gentle connective tissue unwinding.

‘I always knew I wanted to simultaneously use my hands and my head to heal’. Despite falling into Osteopathy by accident, Yolli couldn’t imagine doing anything else or being anywhere else.

Having recently moved to the Surf Coast from the country side surrounding Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh, Yolli’s appreciation for the Australian way-of-life has escalated exponentially. She intensely resonates with the active and healthy lifestyle the SurfCoast promotes, spending every spare hour walking her kelpie pup or training in the gym.

Attalia Egerton Kinesiologist.jpg

attalia egerton - kinesiologist

When you meet Attalia you’re immediately welcomed by her calm and caring nature, open and attentive she creates a space to be seen and truly heard. Her natural curiosity inspires a deeper look at the messages of the body and of life.

Attalia’s approach to health and wellbeing is to support her clients to explore their inner world as the direct tool for creating change in their outer world. By encouraging her clients to be gently curious about what life is showing them, they can then develop the resources needed to take responsibility for themselves and therefore create change.

Attalia is most interested in supporting clients feel balanced and connected. To meet life from a balanced emotional state and to be fully connected to our true spiritual nature is Attalia’s soul work.

“Life has a spiritual purpose and we are invited to experience this journey through our senses. If we suppress, repress or escape what we are experiencing we are not living fully and life becomes dull and full of painful triggers. Together we explore moving beyond putting out painful spot fires and nurture the relationship we are having with ourselves. This is the most profound place to start…. The Self.

Attalia works with both women, men and children and offers in person sessions and skype consultations.  Attalia is passionate about helping clients move from the sensations of stuckness, disconnection, depletion, confusion and resignation to an experience of life where there is ease and flow, connection, growth, trust and power.

Attalia is the mother of two gorgeous girls, lives in the local Torquay area and spends her time between the coast and the country. She loves to spend her free time reading, bush walking, creating, the Arts and travel. She has a slight obsession with ceramics too!
